B2 visa application doesn't need your I797. Intead of copy of your H1 visa/status and I94, I believe you know there are more documents they need, like your financial statement, your birth certificate or whatever shows you are the child of your parents, ...

But once the VO knows you are on H1, they know you can support your parents during their stay. The most critical question is: Will your parents go back to China after the visit ? Unfortunately, this question will be answered by the VO based on his/her judgement. They will also see if there is a tie of your parents to China as an important factor for judgement. If you are the only child in your family, apparently the tie is very weak. That's why lots of people get upset and depressed when they try to arrange their parents for a visit here. Hope you can collect more info in this matter and let us know.
