Does not need to be fancy. Start local, museums, historical sites. Then go to the next town, city, state, etc.. Learn the histories along the way. Have her go up and meet the locals.
Outside may be an alienating place for a child, especially if it is a culture different from home. A child needs to see her future place out there in order to be motivated.
Parents need to think for the child. It is not easy for her. It is terrible to feel like a foreigner in a country where you were born. Many parents may not realize this since they had a solid cultural foundation in their native land. The child needs that cultural foundation too. But which one? They are not mutually exclusive, but they must be present.
